Janitorial/Light Maintenance Position

 

Responsibilities: Daily interior cleaning of building, basic cleaning duties and grounds keeping of exterior building and surrounding premises/parking lot.

Minor maintenance and repair work, painting, simple plumbing and fixture repairs/replacement.

 

Schedule: This position schedule will include Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays

 

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Some cleaning experience and

basic mechanical knowledge preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced public environment including regular interaction with the public.

 

Offer will be contingent upon receiving a satisfactory criminal record check, including vulnerable sector check prior to employment.

Sales Associate / Admissions

                                                               

Responsibilities: Retail sales and service to our Visitors, Display creation and up-keep, stocking and inventory control. Museum ticket sales and information.

 

Schedule: This position schedule will include Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.

 

Education and Experience: Retail Sales experience, High School Diploma or equivalent and/or Retail Sales Professional Program. Previous financial and POS system knowledge and training. Demonstrated excellence in Customer service. Experienced and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment providing you with an opportunity to meet Visitors from around the world.

Heritage Interpreter

Responsibilities: Heritage Interpreters are the link between our visitors and our exhibits. They engage the visitor, interpret the exhibits and provide a memorable experience for our guests through presentations and demonstrations.

 

Schedule: This position schedule will include Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays.

 

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in communicating with a diverse audience, enthusiastic and outgoing with a desire to provide exceptional customer service. Public speaking and languages a definite asset.
