Aquarium closure

After years celebrating marine life in the North Atlantic, the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic will be closing our aquarium. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to this beloved exhibit, which has brought joy and wonder to so many visitors over the years.

However, we want to assure you that this is not the end of our commitment to providing engaging and educational experiences for our visitors. Our team is already hard at work on new temporary exhibits and displays that will take the place of the aquarium and offer exciting opportunities to learn and explore. They will highlight current studies, initiatives, and technologies that all support ocean preservation – the most important part for any fishery.

We are grateful for your continued support and understanding during this transition. Please stay tuned for updates on our upcoming exhibits and events. We can't wait to share them with you.
